1970 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Baja Description

Picked up this Baja about 3 months ago I traded for a Motorcycle I had . I went thru it to Check out everything and get it in Order Has a Super cleanRust Free Pan and shock towers are all Rust free. There is a Welded 4"x5" metal patch on the inside of left front wheel looks over kill to me but dose the job. IChecked all the brakes and Newbrake lines and did New master cylinder and wheel cylinders. Got all the lights working and blinkers .Has a VW Bus 1600 Dual Port Motor that Runs real Strong Starts right up No Smoke No Leaks. Transmission works great Clutch has No chatter very smooth Steers and drives Great. That is a Original Luggage rack and Original Baja Silver spoke rims from the 70s. Tires are decent for how Old they arebut do have some weather cracking starting in the tread. Paint is decent Real Nice Color has some dents in roof and little chips and scratches It's a Driver NOT a Show Car !I had the rainbow stripe made to go with the 70s theme cost me $ 450 installedyou could heat them and peel off if you don't like them. Interior is simple I left out floor mats easier to clean seat are original and have rips those are decent seat covers over them the radio was deletedsomeone made that plate for switches instead for lights and wipers I have the wiper switch that fits in there wipers do work There is no Heater or Fan ! The speedo stopped working don't know if cable but either way Mileage Unknown !the lights inside speedo are missing so I just P/U some have not put them in Yet. There is No Headliner as you can see in pictures or back seat But dose Have a Roll Bar Instead.So This is a Real Fun Driver Quality Baja Bug to have FUN with Good Luck Bidding selling As Is feel free to come out and inspect and drive being Sold on a Bill Of Sale,CT Vin Verification,Only No Titles in Connecticut for vehicles over 20 years old Dose have all 3 Vin's One on Dash, Door Jamb, and on top of tunnel back seat .....so please check with you Motor vehicle department before you Bid PLEASE !
