I'm offering our 1984 VW Quantum Turbo Diesel with 142K miles on it. This is a good running and driving car with a comfortable ride giving you 45-50 mpg. It wouldn't win a Beauty Contest, butit will take you anywhere. The clutch is brand new, timing belt is brand new, cv boots are new, tires are almost new and thebattery is brand new as well. The body isfairly straight, neverbeen wrecked, original faded paint, solid Southern California metal, original interior in fair condition. The a/c isn't working and I never checked it. The speedometer shows higher speed than actual, but the odometer works correct. The tachometer never worked, since we got it some years back.I replaced the stereowith a newer unit and I do have the Owners Manual for this car. TheseQuantums are extinct. I never saw another one on the road inmany years, and our roads are very busy in and around Los Angeles.A PayPal deposit is required within 24 hours after auction end.
