VW Dune Buggy

1958 Volkswagen Other Description

Selling VW Dune buggy. It is built on a shortened 1958 chassis. You would register it as a 1958 VW or a reconstructed title if this is your states rules.

It has sat for a long time and needs some TLC. All the parts are there and it is in solid shape.

In the pictures not shown are the windshield, hard fiberglass top that will come off by unbolting, rear spoiler, beer keg gas tank, tow bar and engine shield.

When it was last shut off both the engine and trans were in running condition, but has not run in a long time. It was a complete driving unit and I have personally put many happy fun miles on the vehicle.

I have many extra engine parts I will also be letting go with the buggy. There is a new exhaust and never used and a bug spray carb that I never got to install. The engine is a 1500 and I converted it to dual port heads. There is an extra set of heads and two blocks, wiring kit, exhaust, carb and intake.

For sale locally but you can arrange shipping or transport on your own if far away.
