1964 Volkswagen Type III 1500 Description

'64 Notch, no kidding! You likely already know how rare these cars are. :) This is a largely original 1964 VW Notchback Type III. Seeing this car in person is amazing, in action is even better. The pictures just don't do these cars justice! This car has been ever so tastefully modified as you can see in the pictures with PERFECTLY fitted 5 spoke wheels that give this little devil a greatpresenceon the road, and a little stinger pipe out back that gives it just enough, low throaty bark as it goes by. The car starts up, and idles perfectly with an awesome tone to it. Not sure what if anything was done to themotoraside from being matching numbers, but shedoesn'thesitate off the line and happily keeps up with the rest of the pack, much better than any mid sixties VW I've had the chance to pilot to date. The seats have been redone and actually fit this car just perfectly with just a little touch of attitude but very time appropriate styling. All the lights work as they should andseat beltsare all there for inspection. You will likely not see another one of these unless you;re looking for one, andd even then to find one in Seablue is such amazing luck. Your typical white, black, or non vw examples cant hold a stick to the original seablue, with that perfect hue of patina where you want it. It's obvious I love this car, an I'm sore the next person and anyone they show it to will also. Again, I just can't get over how cool these things are in person, this one inparticular. Needs a little patches on the back floors, in the flat spots to be perfect. Panels areavailablefor cheap money from ISP west online if you wanted to do it right, when you get to it. The car runs and shows extremely nice, and needs nothing to be enjoyed right away. Oh yea, one more thing. It has a little tow hitch in back too for your vintage trailer, how damn cool is that?!
See this link for more pictures, videos etc.. You gotta see this things in action =) 1964 Notchback
I am a huge fan of these old air cooled vw's, and have been blessed with the opportunity of meeting a lot of people that share the same interest, and owning a number of cool cars. This notch is by far one of thecoolest. I'm motivated to sell to begin a new venture following a pretty unique opportunity, and as often the window of opportunity doesn't stay open long so I'm looking to sell quickly. I encourage any and all questions you might have, insist they be asked prior to auction close, and welcome any inspection or test drives for anyone serious prior to your bid. I have listed it locally, will probably throw it on thesamba, and will be attending next weeks car show with a price on the window if the weather looks nice, so please reach out if your interested sooner than later. That said, if it sells elsewhere, I do reserve the right to end the auction early. I can help with preparing for shipping, and have done it before for those who haven't. Shipping of course is ultimately the buyers responsibility cost and coordinating however I'll do what I can to make it go smoothly. Please also note I have sold several items as well as a couple other cars here on eBay, one very recent and another a few months back and everything was a breeze when said and done as the feedback will attest to. Avoid the bidding game, and or losing the car to someone else and buy it now for $16,000 which is a seriously great price for this car... Typically when reserve is met, buy it now vanishesso just shoot me an email and we can call it a day at that price and you can secure the purchase on the spot. As you can tell, I'm being aggressive to get this done yesterday, and I'll kick myself for selling this car someday, I know that, but opportunity knocks so the cars have gotta go! As you'd expect, the sale is considered final upon agreement or auctions end, and there is no warranty promised or implied.
