2004 Volkswagen Passat Description

This is a very nice, clean, and low mileage Passat TDI. I bought this car a few months ago from the first owner. The car was never involved in any accident. The engine runs very nice 100%. The transmission? (Has some issues). The car runs on drive but after driving for a while it doesn't go back to the first gear. It feels like second or third. Then if you stop and restart the car again it goes back to normal. The problem could be something electrical but I don't know any VW mechanic except the dealership. Right now I don't have money or time to get it fixed, that is why I am selling it as it is with no reserved price. Since I owned the car I put in two brand new front tires.
