1971 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Transporter Description

Spent the last 2 1/2 yrs bringing this surf bus back to life and she is done. Unfortunately, so is my time here in California. Life throws curveballs and my loss could be your benefit. This bus should stay near the beach. I am currently near Calabasas/Malibu. I am asking $40,000.
The entire body work and paint were done by Moises Auto Body in Canoga Park...no rust and beautiful paint (smoke grey).
The engine was completely rebuilt by Bela at Bela's Foreign Car Repair (guy has been the VW guy in Burbank for 45yrs).
Interior was completed recently by Fantasy Motorsports in Thousand Oaks and includes all new interior (middle bench seat is not there). Complete Dynamat soundproofing on the interior walls and floors. Window tinting with heat resistant material. Front seats, back bench seat (which reclines into a bed), all panels have all new upholstery.
Stereo includes a Kenwood deck, Sirius XM ready, iHeart radio, bluetooth and hands free. Speakers include 2 tweeters, 6 Audison 6.5inch 2 way, two 10inch Pioneer subwoofers in a custom box all cleanly presented. Additionally all pushed by JL Audio 600watt Monoblock Subwoofer amp and a JL Audio XDv2, 600watt 6 channel amp.
Lastly, the bus is equipped with automatic door locks, remote and GPS tracking.
