OWNERSHIP HISTORY: This Acapulco has had Two owners. Purchased new in 1974 In Illinois. It was then purchased in 2014 by a car collector, painted and restored with a new engine and front crash guard.
MECHANICALS: The engine starts readily and travels well.
CHASSIS: The floorpans, seats, doors, Surry top and Hard top are in excellent condition. The support bars for the Surry Top show a little weathering and typical of the Thing, there is some minor rust on hub caps and rear exhaust system. Also have the Plexiglass windows. Overall a joy to drive and a showy piece for the road.
