I am selling my 1995 Volvo 850 with 252,000 miles. Interior and exterior are about what you would expect for the mileage or maybe even better, and leather seats are in fair condition. All power windows and locks work, as does heat, which is adjustable for both driver and passenger. Comes with two keys, not the new-style fobs but actual keys. Comes with owner's manual, all floor mats, service records since 2014, spare tire.. Air conditioning does not work. Missing driver's side sun visor. You can check the VIN ( YV1LS5517S1228672 ). I am the owner since 2014 and my title is free and clear of all liens.
Runs OK and can be driven off any distance without a problem. I have had the brakes serviced recently, and new brake pads have been installed. I also unlocked the radio and repaired the antennae, and the speakers offer pretty good sound. Tires are OK - one was patched a year ago. However, the car needs mechanical attention. I am aware of vacuum leaks causing lower MPG, CV joint needing replacement, A/C not working, driver's side seat belt not adjusting, and the dashboard light not coming on at night. Two indicator lights on the dashboard refer to emission control and windshield wiper fluid. Probably will not pass emissions. I am not a mechanic, and there may be other maintenance or repairs indicated as well. There are no fluid leaks I am aware of. The car does not overheat to my knowledge. We do not have records of repairs prior to 2014, because we have only owned the car since 2014. The car definitely does need a tune-up, including an oil change. I am selling because there are repairs needed, as described above, and I recently bought a new car.
I require payment in cash and only want to deal with serious buyers. No time-wasters please. If you do not have the funds in cash, or are not sure about the purchase, please do not bid. Yes, you can pick this car up and drive it home with the title on the same day. No problems with the title or driving the car. Starts right up. This could potentially be a really good deal for a shadetree mechanic or someone that knows one.
