1999 BMW 5-Series Wagon Description

This listing is for a 1999 BMW 528i Touring wagon. I've owned this car for over 10 years and it has always been solid and dependable. This car has been garage kept, well maintained and runs and drives very well. My daughter was driving it but she is off to college and I need the room for other cars (I have 3 other BMWs). The car is in good shape considering its age. Everything works and the car throws no check engine codes. A/C blows cold, the engine starts and runs smoothly, the car drives straight and brakes perfectly.

There are a few things that I will mention here so you are aware: The car has a brand new batteryThe car has newer power steering lines, all replaced to resolve a leak.The oil filter housing gasket was replaced, also to resolve a leak.Newer belts and radiator hosesThe car has newer stock headlight housings which make a huge positive differenceThe car has lightly tinted windows on the side windows but not on the hatchThe constantly broken, flimsy front cup holders have been replaced by a cup tray. The equally flimsy rear seat cup holder assembly is broken but closed.The paint is generally excellent but there are some rust bubbles where the rear fender wells meet the bumper cover. (see wheel pictures)There is some rust in the bottom of the battery compartment behind the rear fender wellThere is a dent in the rear passenger side door from a shopping cartThere is a crack in the newer windshield on the passenger side that has not affected inspection.The car has a current Pennsylvania inspection good through June of 2017.The hood release is broken but I have the parts to fix it.The leather seats are in good shape with no tears or splits, but the driver's 8 way power switch is a little finicky.One of the buttons on the A/C control is cracked. AC works fine.There is a tear in the front bumper cover underneath where the cover snagged a curb-stop pulling out.Car is being sold as-is where-is. $250.00 PayPal deposit due within 48 hours of close of auction.
