The BMW 330 ZHP, which was created by BMW Individual (a division of BMW’s M performance division), debuted at the Los Angeles International auto show on January 2, 2003. Production was scheduled for March with the first ZHP-equipped 330s hitting showrooms in April 2003. ZHP package E46 were available in Sedan form for 2003-2005 as well as Coupe & Convertible versions from 2004 to 2006. The 330 ZHP was only available for the E46 platform.

ZHP equipped E46s had 235 HP at 5900 RPM, which is 10 HP more than the standard BMW 330.The ZHP puts down 222 lb-ft of torque at 3500 RPM, which is 8 lb-ft torque more than the standard BMW E46 330. The redline for the ZHP is 6800 RPM, which is 300 RPM more than the standard BMW E46 330.In September 2003, Car and Driver magazine tested the vehicle and reported a 0-60 time of 5.6 seconds. Additionally, because the speed limiter was removed in the 330 ZHP, the top speed is 155 mph.

The final-drive ratio for the 6 speed manual transmission is 3.07, which is shorter than the 2.93 rear end that was available on the standard BMW E46 330. The only other E46 that was only available with a 6 speed manual is the M3.

The ZHP suspension is the Sport Package suspension with upgraded lower control arms (LCA).

The ZHP engine upgrade upgrade kit includes hotter cams, oil pump spindle nut, and ECU software (+300 rpm). The ZHP differential ratio is also the same as the BMW Performance differential (3.07 for 6MT). The ZHP, meanwhile, has a rear muffler that is unique -- and different -- from the BMW Performance exhaust kit.

Cosmetically the ZHP differed from regular E46 models with a special weighted short throw shifter, M Sport Steering wheel, Cube Aluminum interior trim, black headliner fabric, as well special aerodynamic front and rear bumpers with side skirts.

Car is in Beautiful Condition inside & out. ZERO rust, as one would expect for a San Diego CA car for it’s first nine years. Garage kept during my ownership. Paint shines with a nice gloss, some minor road rash on front of hood that was been touched up with Dr. Colorchip. Fully sorted mechanically and electrically, Tires measure 7/32nds, needs nothing but a new owner. Present owner is BMWCCA member and BMW enthusiast, just don’t have the time to maintain 2 “classic” BMWs plus 2 other cars, thus I’ve decided to sell the ZHP.I can confidently say you will not find a nicer low mileage ZHP Manual transmission for sale…….

Title is free and clear, in my possession. CarFax is available, please PM me for more info. Car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time. Car is located in Helena, AL.
