DAILY DRIVER AND JUST GOT INSPECTED!
Runs and drives fine, just drove it to Canada and back recently.
Has many new parts LED light bulbs, water pump just replaced, valve cover gasket replaced, a few suspension parts from the BMW dealer as well as the computer upgrade.
Also had the transfer case replaced with new drive shaft, this is the most common problem on these cars and costs upwards of 2,000 dollars.
I do get a check light sensor that comes off and on, its off right now, I had the code read and it appears to be an o2 sensor. The left side mirror is missinglathe inside cover, I saw them online for around 30$, its not really even noticable. BMW recommend replacing a few more suspension parts lime ball joints and mounts. Not required but recommend.
The good thing is this car runs well. I drive it every day to work. If you want to be picky there was a small rip in the driver window tint. However to re tint that window wont cost more then 80$. The one cover for the driver side side mirror is missing. I saw them online from 30 to 40$. There is a few more suspension parts that BMW recommends replacing, as the one control arm you can here is worn. Nothing major though and all recommendations, pass inspection with no problem. Also the light will come on for the rear licsense plate bulb being out, however the wire was broke and repaired, so the lights work fine but the car thinks the one bulb is out because the socket was bypassed. You would need to buy a new unit which is about 100$ online, however the lights work fine and you can a message but to clear it takes a split second push of a button. Again all these are just some minor repairs you can make if you so choose.
I really love this car and all the features, including the hill decent feature which BMW got from Land Rover when they bought them out. In inclement weather you can turn on hill descent and it will drive down the hill itself(you must steer it of course). The navigation and on board computer works well.
Have 3 cars and need to downgrade. So happy bidding...Good Luck!
