The first generation BMW X5 is actually the safest automobile that the national highway institute has ever crash tested. It also has the best all wheel drive technology on the road. I know this because for over a decade I worked for BMW and for the money these X5's go for you cannot put your family in a safer vehicle. This X5 holds a clean California title and is in very Excellent mechanical condition. I drove the car from California 2000 miles with no issues what so ever.
