2003 BMW 5-Series 525i Description

Condition of vehicle space – space the condition of this vehicle can be considered extremely good for its 13 year old age. The exterior of the car is in very good condition with only a couple of paint chips . The front bumper on the passenger side is slightly scuffed, which is noted in the pictures. The interior of the car is in extremely good condition. The windows are tinted, the back seat area looks great. The front drivers seat shows very slight signs of normal wear for a 13-year-old car. All records from any previous owners come with the car.
Features – the car comes with all known upgrades that a 2003 model BMW comes with. Car is equipped with power windows, power locks, alarm, on board computer with no notable issues with the car. Please see notes regarding ABS light which came on despite nothing being wrong with the brakes, and the thermometer which likes to be stuck at 40 degrees. Car also equipped with headlight washers which I never use personal and comes with full BMW tool kit in trunk
History - I am the third owner of this vehicle, and I have only had it for six months. The previous owner, who is also a friend of mine only drove the car once, literally. He bought the car from a couple in Chicago and drove the car from Chicago to Dallas area German import repair shop. He took the car to the shop to have upgrades and part replacement and was going to give the car to his wife, but never did. From 2012 to 2016 another friend of mine who owns the same foreign import repair shop drove the car 6 miles a day round-trip to work and back. The previous owner before that was a couple in Chicago, and from what I understand his wife also drove the car short distance to and from work which accounts for the relatively low mileage. They appear to of taken an extremely good care of the car. This car has not been involved in any accidents. Right front fender was replaced due to minor damage when a pole fell on it at a repair shop last year. If I have not been told about the right front center being replaced, I would not of noticed it. The car has been garage kept for the past five years. I am unclear if it was garage kept in Chicago, but I would have to assume it was since the paint and the car in general is in such nice condition inside and out.
Shipping and payment - deposit is required within 48 hours of the close of the auction. Buyer then has five days to pick up the vehicle or have the vehicle shipped. See below offer for one way airfare to pick up car. A total of seven days (or one week) from close of auction until purchase is complete. Buyeris of course welcome to pick up the car upon close of auction. Inspection of the vehicle by outside mechanic is welcome. If you live anywhere near North texas you are welcome to test drive the car at your convenience. Please contact me if you have a mechanic, or the mechanic needs directions on how to find the car.I am willing to do whatever is necessary if buyer wishes to have the car shipped anywhere in the continental United States. Buyerwill assume all payment responsibility as it relates to shipping the car. As the seller, I am happy to take the car anywhere D/FW metroplex for shipping.

MECHANICAL: THE CAR RUNS EXCELLENT, THE ENGINE RUNS STRONG AND QUIET, NO SHAKING OR LEAKING, RECENTLY TUNED UP, BRAKES ARE STRONG AND TIRES ARE GOOD AT ABOUT 60%, THE A/C WORKS PERFECT AND BLOWS AS COLD AS ICE.

EXTERIOR: METALLIC SILVER COLOR, ORIGINAL PAINT IN GOOD CONDITION AND IT IS VERY SHINY, BODY IS STRAIGHT WITH NO SCRATCHES OR DENTS, WITH NO RUST.

INTERIOR: GREY LEATHER SEATS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. NON-SMOKERS HAVE OWNED THIS CAR FROM THE BEGINNING. LEATHER IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH ONLY NORMALLY EXPECTED WEAR ON SEATS WITH NEARLY 100K MILES ON THEM.

ELECTRICAL: ALL ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ARE WORKING PROPERLY, DASH BORD SCREEN. WINDOWS, MIRRORS, SUNROOF, XENON LIGHT AND TURN SIGNALS. THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS THE CAR THINKS IT IS 40 DEGREES OUTSIDE ALL THE TIME, AN ISSUE WHICH JUST STARTED ABOUT A MONTH AGO - ASIDE FROM NOT KNOWING THE EXACT TEMPERATURE, IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL. I WILL TRY TO FIX IT BEFORE CAR IS SOLD. ALSO, THE ABS LIGHT ON THE DASH IS ON BUT THERE IS NO PROBLEM AT ALL WITH THE BRAKES. I HAVE HAD MY MECHANIC LOOK AT THE ISSUE TWICE AND THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKES OR BRAKING SYSTEM, NOT SURE WHY THE LIGHT WANTS TO STAY ON.

THIS VEHICLE HAS A CLEAN TEXAS TITLE IN HAND, CAR WAS STATE INSPECTED AND REGISTERED ON MAY 18, 2016, SO NEW OWNER HAS ONE YEAR BEFORE REGISTRATION EXPIRES.
