2001 BMW 5-Series Description

This is a beautiful 2001 BMW 540 Sport Wagon with factory M options, navigation, on-board computer, every single option, 18" wheels and ultra wide tires with a staggered setup, 245-40-18 and 275-35-18 in the rear. Tires are in great condition. Enthusiast owned and maintained.
This wagon has been meticulous maintained and is very reliable, gets about 18 MPG in the City and mid-20s on the highway at cruising speeds. Tinted windows, within the past years all brakes were replaced and lines flushed with OE/OEM parts. Ice cold AC with Navigation. No rips or stains in the beautiful black leather seats. 6-Disc CD changer. Control arms, tie-rods, bushings, and KW V1 coilovers on all 4 corners were done last year. Engine oil, transmission fluids were flushed and transmission shifts silky smooth. The timing chain guides, cam sprocket, water pump, belts, were replaced ($4,000 job and have paperwork). Specialized BMW mechanic gave the thumbs up for the health of the vehicle and car is good for another 100,000 miles! These Touring Sport Wagons are quite rare for the 540i, only a small numbers of them were sold in the US. (Most I've seen on the road were 525i) Vehicle has the optional M-sport Package and air suspension.
