1996 Chevrolet K1500 Cheyenne 4WD truck, with Leer camper top, in excellent running condition. The tires are pretty new, with little wear. New front brake pads, rotors, calipers and brake lines. Radiator replaced last year. Never any big engine or transmission problems, nor exhaust system and passed emissions test recently. 60 month warranty battery was just put in yesterday (Dec. 5). The 4 $200 each, tires have plenty of life left. The heater will keep you warm this winter and the radio works great. There is also a CD player and these aren't put in the new trucks any more. There are 3 auxiliary power sockets and 2 cup holders from the dashboard. Cruise Control is also nice as is trip odometer. The main drawback is that the body has a lot of rust. I was in northern Minnesota in winter 2 years ago and passing trucks kept throwing salty slushy snow over the whole side of the truck. I didn't act quickly and that caused the body corrosion. It has 191,014 miles on it and I have had great camping trips from Alaska to the tip of the Florida keys, Texas, AZ, CO, CA Maine, Quebec and many places in between. Great for cheap camping. Just getting a new camper top would cost $1800, but this one is excellent condition. It has a sliding window at the front, as does the rear of the cab, so there is direct communication or access if necessary.
