Alright, here's the deal.
I bought this truck four years ago from my Grandpa who was the first owner. It's been in my family since he purchased it in 1996. Well maintained, it's never been overheated, never been ran out of oil or fuel, and never had any serious wrecks.
Sure, it's got some wear and tear, but it's only what you would expect from a vehicle like this. It's a DIESEL SUBURBAN. They quit making these and they're extremely difficult to find.
New brakes.New shocks.New tie-rods.New ball joints.New bushings.New shocks.New alternator.New serpentine belt.Radiator flushed in November.New tires.New glow plugs.New batteries.
Never been "chipped" like most diesels this age.
Four Wheel Drive locks in strong and pulls like an ox. I've never gotten stuck in this thing.
Tow package! This bad boy will tow 7500lbs comfortably.
The 6.5L Detroitdiesel is the same motor they put in HMMWVs!
Aestheticallyit has some flaws but mechanically it's sound. I've done my best to document the cosmetic issues in the photographs but I can't guarantee that every little ding and scratch is there.
The seats have some tears in them. There are some dents in the passenger side door. A few carpet stains. 8'' crack in the windshield that doesn't interfere with safe driving. The A/C system doesn't work but is there, same with the power locks.
If you're looking for a truck to take hunting or go camping with, maybe tow a small camper, this is the one for you.
