1971 Chevrolet Nova Description

Hello. You are bidding on a 1971 Nova. Description is as follows..

Drivetrain:

350/350. Older crate motor with mild cam and rebuilt transmission. Edelbrock carb and RPM intake. MSD ignition, aluminum water pump, aluminum timing cover, aluminum pulleys. Dougs headers, andFlowmaster exhaust. Runs and shifts great, hasgreat oil pressure and does not smoke. B&M shifter. Rear end has new Summit Racing axles, bearings, and seals.Has highway gears, 2:73 is my guess. Leaf spring bushings have been replaced with urethane. Brakes work great. Front end hasnewer bushings, ball joints and tie rod ends, but will need new springs and alignment although the car drivesgood as is.Tires have decent tread. Also needs subframe bushings replaced. All lights, turn signalsheadlights, wiper motor, horn, and gauges work. Heater and brake lights do not work. Electrical ignition switchis on its way out, so will eventually need replaced.Overall a good driver that needs a weekend offixing little things.

Interior: Original headliner is ingreat shape, no rips. Seats and door panels are in fair driver conditionbut no rips. Carpet is new, package tray is good, Stereo works well. Steering column is tight. Original dash pad is cracked.door window regulators and windwings work well.Rear quarter regulators need help rolling back up.

Body:

All Gm body panels. Solid and straight for the most part, needing minor dings repaired.Roof and window channels are nice and solid. Trunk, floors and cowl/drains are excellent. Front clip is straight and only has a minor repairable rust spot at the bottom of one fender.Doors, jambs, decklid, and taillight panelalso have no rust. Doors open and close/fit good.Trunk extensions are solid, no rust. Both quarter panels are reasonably solid, but need some rust repair on the lower lips andrearward of thedrivers wheelwell.Obviously, drivers quarter needs adent pulled and repaired. Overall a pretty solid car withno major rust or damage other than the above mentioned.
