1965 Chevrolet C10 Description

Pickup trucks are no longer just about utility. Some have been invested in to turn heads, and this restored 1965 Chevrolet C10 Custom sure proves it. With the crisp orange paint, performance-built V8, and a ton of thoughtful details, you can't help but be impressed. The Pearl Orange caught your attention and won't let go...that's how it is for everyone else, too. The was a solid investment in the high-gloss paintwork, and it really proves it every time you take it out in the sunshine. Fit and finish are very good, and if this truck ever spent days out in the field or on the job site, all evidence of it has been completely erased by the build. Instead, the sheetmetal is nearly straight enough to use as a mirror, which is perfect for the sleek fleetside body. And if it's shine you love, this one also has the correct full-length chrome strip and b-pillar trim of the C10's Custom line. Plus, you know the grille and bumper would never appear this mirror-like unless some serious money was spent there. This one gets all the details right, too. You see it up front with the fiberglass hood and hold down pins (a hint at the aggression underneath.) And there's a tonneau cover protecting the attractive varnished oak wood bed. Finally, the rear step bumper was even purposely weathered just to give everyone a small reminder of the old-school pickup work ethic.Open the door to reveal more of the custom and premium attitude. The two-tone white and blue really make the whole atmosphere bright and airy. The bench seat has undergone a full restoration, so it's fresh and cozy. Plus, added sound and heat insulation keeps everything much more comfortable. So it's a fine machine to invite passengers along for the journey, especially since they can enjoy the modern AM/FM/CD stereo. But the best treats are reserved just for you. The upgraded Grant GT sports steering wheel feels good in your hands, and beyond that is the restored original instrument panel. Plus, with the B&M Megashifter, auxiliary gauge trio, and large SunPro tach all in the center, you get the feeling there is something quite special under the hood. The golden small block radiates with power from the dark engine bay. And more than just look great, this is a true performance motor. The 350 cubic-inch V8 has been bored .30 over, and built with a hotter camshaft, high-volume oil pump, and a host of upgraded parts such as the valves, rods, and pistons. It also has been given the full Edelbrock treatment with a large 600 CFM four-barrel carburetor, EPS intake, air topper, and valve covers. And those long tube headers are the perfect finishing touch to add even more power while also contributing to the thunderous dual exhaust. This full power package is sent to a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission with shift kit. And that feeds the stout 12-bolt rear end. A truck like this needs to handle on the streets, and so there are some great features like a thick sway bar up front and the C10's sough-after trailing arm rear suspension. Add in power steering and wide Cooper Cobra tires on 15-inch polished wheels, and you've got a great total package.Complete with restoration photos, this is the full build that looks great and growls loud. So if you want to show off this turn-key head-turner this weekends, you're going to need to call today!
