Here you go guys, this 49 Ford Coupe is a true time capsule. It has 25,000 miles on it now, it had a little over 20,000 miles on it when I purchased it 2 1/2 years ago. I bought it to turn into a Gasser style car but I couldn't bring myself to do it. When I got the car it was 100% original right down to the original exhaust and plug wires. I had to change the plug wires. The car had one owner when I got it. I had to change the tires when I got it as the old ones were hard as a rock. I put new mags and air shocks on it and that is all I have done. It still drives like a new car. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on this car, it is very solid. It has a few dings in the body which are very small, the trim is very good. The flat head V8 engine runs excellent. The rear main seal leaks a little bit, it does not burn any oil, it shifts very well. The car does not have overdrive. The interior is 100% original and is in very good shape. This car has not sat for years in storage but it has been driven just enough to keep everything in good working condition. You can drive this car anywhere! It's been stored inside it's whole life and it still has the original owners manual and I also have the previous owners registration cards dating back to the 60's, you can track the mileage through the years by the oil change stickers on the door jambs.
