Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2007 Ford Focus sedan. The Ford Focus is a European inspired vehicle that is one of the most popular vehicles in Europe and has excellent sales here in the United States. I would rate the exterior of this Focus to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in burgundy with black interior. The finish has a nice shine and looks smooth. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Focus, there are just the normal fewscratches and scrapes here and there from age...nothing terrible. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory wheel covers show well. The tires have average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would also rate the interior of this Focus to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age and are full looking throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. The seats show a little wear but are acceptable and comfortable. The interior in this Focus is pretty basic. Everything is manual. I believe the drivers door will need a new window crank, as it just spins freely and appears to be stripped. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. The audio system is the original factory stereo with in-dash CD player, which also appears to be working properly. The trunk is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this Focus appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. You can feel that the front bushings are worn and should probably be replaced soon. This is a common wear item at this age and mileage. Steering and braking feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the five speed manual transmission are smooth, as they should be. Out on the road, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. It's a little noisy on the road (worn bushings, inexpensive interior, etc.), but basically all older Focuses are...it's just how they age. I don't see anything unusual with this one. These are good cars that run and run. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
