2006 MUSTANG SHELBY GT-H "HERTZ Rent-a-Racer" Edition

In 1966 FORD MOTOR COMPANY, SHELBY AMERICAN INC. and HERTZ RENTAL CO. LLC got together and developed the Mustang SHELBY GT350H for rental car service. The Shelby rented for $17 dollars a day and .17 cents a mile. In 2006, the trio got together again and developed the 2006 SHELBY GT-H for rental car serviceagain with much higher rates, and produced them at their Las Vegas, NV facility. They installed a performance suspensionand handling package, cold air intake, performance exhaust system with x-pipe, 3.55 rear axle gears and the computer was reprogramed.They also added new hood, front fascia, new grille, side scoops, hood pins, and Shelby letters on the trunk. They also added Hertz side badges, numbered plaque under the hood and one on the dash. Gold stripes were added to finish off the look. This car lead toproducing the 2007-08 Shelby GT's, the GT 500KR's, and the Super Snake Shelby's.

I installed the wiring harness for rear tail lights which makes themsequential turn signals. Ireplaced the wheel center caps with GT-H caps.It Has the “Rent-A-Racer” plate frame. I have all the parts removed so it can be changed back to stock if desired. I have all the original paper work such as factory invoice, certificate of origin, Shelby invoice, pre-delivery record, Hertz check sheet, original window sticker, and other documentation. I have the numbered key ring, dash plaque and 40th Anniv. Plaque. Car is number 114 of 500 with 13.3k miles on the odometer. This car is in showroom condition, equipped with leather sport seats, power windows, locks and mirrors, cruise control, tilt, A/C, Shaker 500 6-CD changer, ABS, traction control, and Power Seat. Car also has the original Sirius satellite radio with Hertz written on it and it works if you get a subscription.
