2001 Ford Mustang Description

  • Cant believe I am listing this, but have got the bug for a raptor. For sale is a incredible 2001 Mustang Svt Cobra. The body has a 105k miles on it. Ive owned this car since 2009, and am the second owner. I purchased this car from the original owner in Birmingham, Al where it had 97k on it. Car is loaded with Mach 460 audio and rear wing. The rear wing has been removed and the trunk was plugged with painted to match plugs. I do have the wing and it is included. After I brought it home I started modding it. The Car was taken apart and every wire harness was changed to 2003 Harness from a wrecked car. It runs the ydh0 pcm.The Speedometer was replaced with the 2003 cluster, its shows 49k on it, and has a high boost overlay. The Original Cluster Showed 105k when it was removed. The motor has been built, it was donea couple years ago, with the best of everything, Diamond Racing piston and an Teskid Aluminum Block, and it has roughly400 miles on it. Everything for the eaton was installed, intercooler, alt, p/s lines etc were changed. All of the Emissions has been removed, egr, cats etc. It has been tuned by Rick at Amazon Racing via sct x3 tuner for 91 octane. It runs and drives great, a little harder steering effort is needed because on the Cobra R Rack, but provides unmatched road feel, and the weight from the aluminum block provides a bettter weight balance from front to rear. This is a true turn key car, would not hesitate to drive it across country. I have the svt certificate for the car as well. This car isn't perfect it has typical rock chips, and the rear tint isn't the greatest on the dot matrix part, and the typical wiper cowling crack in 2 places. The accident reported on the vin check was when the car was new and someone backed into it. It was repaired by the ford dealer where they replaced the right front fender only. The rest of the paint on the car is original, and it even has the orginal windsheild with the pony logo on it. Always stored inside, covered, never seen a winter. Car is exceptionally clean, and was always kept clean. The abs sometimes willgo off at slow speeds due to thedifference in tire size (f 245/45 r 275/40). Also the cruise doesn't work currently.
