2012 Ford F-150 Platinum Crew Cab Pickup 4-Door Description
I have spent countless hours and dollars to make this 2012 a one of a kind functional off road/daily driver that turns heads everywhere it goes! It was purchased in May of 2013 with 7 miles on the odometer, it truly is a one of a kind from the factory before I ever started customizing it! It is a beautiful "unique" metallic grey, with a black and stainless steel trim and Platinum Brunello Leather Bucket Seats. All the leather is Brunello both heated and air conditioned, and the wood grain is black burl-wood to match the carpet/headliner, the windows in the rear have an extra layer of 5% limousine tint to give the kids an extra layer of privacy. Aftermarket INVISION DVD players with infrared headphones as well as remotes installed in place of the facory headrests $1300 addition (OEM headrests packed away safely and will come with the sale) Ford after market OEM floor mats installed front and back ($180 addition) for that extra level of protection, facory carpet, and floor mats look like they came of the showroom floor, the carpet has never had shoes on it, came home from the dealership and installed the Ford rubber mats immediately! and in place of the factory "700w Sony subwoofer" there is now a Kicker 300 w 10" sub that fits in the exact same spot and really takes the audio to the next level in the truck, look on eBay, a $699 addition. The factory sync system has had a professional addition placed in it that allows viewing of DVD's/ Nav, (basically any function that will only work from the factory while the truck is in park to work at all times) even allows for viewing of the rear camera on screen at any speed, another $780 addition. All of the lighting inside and out has been replaced with LED lighting, of course being a Platinum, it also comes with 7 different colors of accent lighting in the floor, cup holders, and center console. The small tray above the shifter has been replaced with auxiliary switches from Ford "OEM" on the Raptors, so it retains the factory look. All the wiring was done by a Ford factory technician and has all the appropriate fuses, relays, and modules to keep it functioning like a Raptor, replacing the factory wiring harness labor and harness was almost $4000 This truck is equipped with the factory Ford Sony sound system eight channel which has a center channel and subwoofer but like I said the subwoofer has been upgraded to a kicker sub and the factory Sony door speakers upgrades to Kicker as well $550 addition. All the functionality of the truck is controllable through the center console nav screen, air conditioning, Weather, Maps, Sirius, radio, DVD etc. you name it this truck has it. The truck is equipped with the 701A luxury package which includes factory sunroof plus has its own creature comfort upgrades. Now we move to the outside, this truck screams platinum from the hood to the tailgate. The Tailgate has a retractable step and handle for ease into the bed itself. The bed is covered with a factory ford OEM plush padded carpet liner that covers the entire bed including the tailgate, the bed NEVER had anything placed in it before this was installed so there are NO scratches. Moving on to the rear of the truck the rear tail lights have been replaced from factory to 128 LED tail/brake lights with black trim. The third brake light has also been replaced with a raptor style third brake light which gives it a class of its own. The license plate lights have been replaced with LED so they have a very unique shine to them. The factory mirrors don't just have amber reflectors in them, the have light up turn signals that do work with with the factory signals! The rear bumper came off of a raptor and has the raptor tow hooks built-in and has been sprayed with black Line-X that will last for many years to come. The front bumper has been replaced with a Rouge racing Rebel bumper $1700 addition and has an added Aurora 50" light bar as well as a 42" Aurora light bar behind the grill $1200 addition. Also on the subject of aftermarket lighting there are two aurora defused D2's in the headlamps and two Aurora D2 driving lamps mounted under the bumper, there are also two Aurora foglamps mounted near the windshield with hood mounts that are great in foggy conditions they pierce through the fog unlike white light with their Amber lighting, there are also four more defused D2's mounted underneath the bumper pointing down and outward for lighting 50 yards out and 50 yards 45° out without blinding oncoming traffic, all of these are controlled by the raptor switches and modules installed in the factory placement the 10 D2 lights were a $2500 addition. The headlights on this pick up are one of a kind they were built by 806 desert customs and they have what is called a switch back C-bar and neon projector ring mounted inside of the factory housing where the defused D2 has replaced the Amber turn signal this C-bar flashes from white to Amber when the turn signal is applied thus turning your whole headlight into a turn signal a very unique look that has not been replicated due to the way I had it built, these are in Ford factory projector housings but even the projectors have been upgraded to a higher powered HID bulb and ballast, a $3500 addition that makes the truck extremely unique. The bed has 2015/2016 Ford FX4 off-road stickers just to give it an updated look. This truck has been off road many times but has never been "in the mud". I did place for American outlaw wheels on the truck approximately one year ago that are painted and Platinum coated to match the paint scheme of the truck, these wheels are wrapped in brand-new "less than 7000 miles" Toyo M/T 35x12.5x20 tires 10 ply $3300 addition. This truck is also equipped with a fallback bed cover $1300 addition that locks from the inside and the tail gate has a lock on it as well. The bed cover is in black. The truck is equipped with power running boards that open and close with the doors. Very convenient and classy feature. The front driver and passenger window do you have 30% window film on them as well as the front windshield having a 5% brow on the top 5 inches of it to block the sunlight from coming. The truck does have a Rouge true 3 inch leveling kit on it $700 addition. I chose this route over a lift kit due to the fact that the lift kit does not give you any more ground clearance than what the leveling kit does, and it also does not change the geometry of the factory engineering by placing and after market lift on the front struts and additional blocks on the back. This allows the 35 inch tires to tuck in nicely in the wheels wells, but also keeps the tires from rubbing at any angle the truck does sit higher than any factory F-150 because of the lift kit but does not change the center of gravity, The shocks and struts replaced at 50,000 miles with ford OEM shocks and struts. The truck also had rotors and brake pads replaced at 50,000 miles as well as all factory engine parts gone through by my local mechanic, all brake lines are in good order the brake system was flushed and filled with Ford factory DOT 3 brake fluid, The radiator has been flushed and it set up right now for winter the battery is less than a-year-old the air filters never have to be replaced only cleaned having the AFE stage 2 cold air induction, The intercooler has also been flushed and cleaned and all spark plugs replaced and gapped at .28 and new spark plug wires installed within the last 1500 miles about $2000 in general maintenance. The Ford factory warranty replaced the original transmission Ford factory transmissions are now all electronic and sealed so if there is an issue they just replace the transmission rather than trying to fix anything that I do have all the documentation showing this it was basically a $4000 replacement that Ford paid for under warranty. This along with very generous maintenance makes this truck just like a new 2017. The engine and drivetrain run immaculately and are still under the 60,000 mile Ford factory warranty that can be extended to 100,000 miles for $1500 the body itself is clean no scratches no dings no dance this truck is as clean as one that you would drive off the factory show room floor today but with everything installed and proven to work with tons of wrench time! Please, serious inquiries only I would be more than happy to show this to anyone who is interested and allow them to drive it and even have their own mechanic look at it like I said I'm more than willing to provide documentation and most of the upgrades around out of about $23,000, please feel free to call me on my cell phone at 806-549-0999
