1997 Ford F250 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel Heavy Duty SuperCab shortbed 2WD with 332K miles in great shape and meticulously maintained for it's whole life.
Manufactured with the heavy duty suspension, C5 10.5"axle with 4.10 gears and limited slip differential, giant brakes, camper package and big sway bars, forged alloy wheels, Supercab and fold down rear seat. Last of the twin fuel tank models (16 and 18 gallons respectively). Added aftermarket Color matched topper with rack and light inside (one window is broken), trailer brake controller. Has a aftermarket stereo and speakers complete with BlueTooth and microphone for remote phone (I still have the original stereo as well)
Original owner vehicle.! This truck has many reliable miles under it's belt and needs a new home. Texas purchased and lived in San Francisco area and the DFW area for all 19 years. Absolutely no rust. I bought this truck in March 1998 in Denton, TX. Truck was produced in December of 1997 making it the last month of the last year in this body style. It has the much loved and sought after 7.3L Powerstroke (Navstar International mfg) with all original equipment. Items replaced in recent years: Brand New Michelin tires ($1,000), all new Ford Motorcraft front end components (ball joints, tie rods, etc) $1,800, Motorcraft replacement mechanical fuel pump, high pressure oil pump re-sealed, many new oil seals including oil cooler seals, topside oil plug seals, glow plugs, fuel filter bowl seals, water pump and gaskets, thermostat. Fuel pickups, fuel level senders, cleaned fuel tanks, serpentine belt, starter alternator, injector control pressure sensor, injector pressure regulator and coolant.
Replaced in the last five years: A/C Compressor, Drier, Condenser and all A/C hoses, full set of brakes, brake master cylinder, re-foamed the seat cushions, front wheel bearings and brake rotors, rear main seal, pan gasket, turbo rebuilt and pedestal seals replaced.
This a "head turner" of a truck, exceptionally clean and ready to drive home (or cross country). It has all original documents including wind sticker, manuals, purchase order and many service related docs. No squeaks, rattles or noises. Comes with an aftermarket aluminized large pipe exhaust and downpipe. you cannot find a better maintained truck and one-owner.
