Performance for the new car comes from a supercharged variant of Ford Motor Co.’s 4.6L SOHC V-8, punched out to 5.0L and making 620 hp and 600 lb.-ft. (813 Nm) of torque. Power gets to the rear of the car with a strengthened 6-speed manual transmission which assists in sub-4-second 0-60 mph (97 km/h) times.

A litany of aggressive body modifications, including an integrated rear spoiler and carbon-fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, distinguish the S302E as a Saleen, while brushed aluminum badges identify its 25th anniversary commemorative status.

The interior is where they really stepped up. Copious amounts of Alcantara and leather cover practically everything, and silver accent stitching on the door inserts, dash and center console add credence to the bespoke nature of this rare, numbered machine. Another unique touch is a dash mounted start button. That button, of course, will bring to like the 620 horsepower 302 cubic inch supercharged and intercooled V8.

In keeping with the $100,000 original price tag, Saleen invited each of the 25 original buyers to Detroit to take part in a delivery program that included a first class round trip visit to the plant for a guided tour, dinner with Saleen executives, a photo album and portfolio of the car, a serialized car cover, and Saleen apparel. While the trip, tour, and dinner can’t be replicated, the car WILL come to you with the photo album portfolio, serialized car cover, Saleen leather jacket (size large), and Saleen Commemorative watch.

The car presents as essentially flawless, and has been stored in a climate and humidity controlled garage since new. There is a hairline scuff on the hood about 20mm in length and 1mm wide, and about 4 miniscule stone chips less than 3mm in diameter to be found on the painted surface of the car.

The paint is slick to the touch, and the car has probably been waxed and detailed more hours than it was actually driven.

Proper lift storage has left the massive 20” tires in exceptional condition, free of any flat spots or issues.

Wheels are in flawless condition, with no marks, curb damage, pitting, flaking, or issues of any kind.

Interior is in phenomenal condition, and has no rips, tears, seam pulls, scuffs, stains, or damage of any kind. It has never been smoked in, has never had a pet inside of it, has no odor of ANY kind, and has never had anyone in the rear seating area.
