2000 Honda Insight, 2door, 5 speed manual transmission. It gets about 50 to 65 mpg depending on temperature outside. The warmer the temperature the better the mileage. We have been using it as a courier to save on fuel. We acquired this car in August 2015 and have put approximately 18,000 (flawless) miles on it with no problems. The car is not perfect but good enough for daily driving. Imperfections include faded paint on hood and roof, passenger tie rod knocks when going over bumps, front tires are in need of replacement, automatic door lock doesn't always unlock the passenger door, it sometimes will grind when down shifting into second which is a very common problem with these Insights we don't down shift to 2nd as a result. Wouldn't hesitate to drive it on a 12 hr trip. Price is non negotiable and a flat $1600, which we believe this is generous for a running, driving on the road 1st gen Insight with a working IMA battery. We took the high miles (250k) into consideration when pricing this car, there is nothing wrong it, its just time to move it along since it runs and drives it would be a crime to part out one of these in this condition so its being offered to you at a good price.
