1998 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas Description

Beautiful 1998 Jaguar Vanden Plas. Well taken care of Southwestern car (California and Arizona all of its life). Smooth and powerful4.0 liter V8. No mechanical issues, tires only have about 1000 miles on them. New brakes and rotors all around in March of this year. The timing chain tensioners have been upgraded to late design metal ones instead of the original plastic ones (see pics).
Leather and walnut interior with all power options except heated seats. Has 6 disc Jaguar/Harmon Cardon stereo (changer in trunk). Best cruise control I've ever driven. Custom jaguar print headliner. Fold-down walnut trays in the back seats.
Exterior in really good shape...just three or four small coin sized dings in some panels...no paint missing. Rock chips in the lower front valance/bumper. Rear bumper has a small gash just above left exhaust pipe.
Interior is in good shape. No tears in the leather but some cracking.
No accidents...just a great car and a great value.
