1998 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas Description

Beautiful 1998 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas--4.0 liter V8. This vehicle is in great condition with no mechanical deficiencies--drives like a dream. All of the power options work. The vehicle started its life in Beverly Hills and then was owned in Palm Springs. Now it is in Arizona. The bottom line...absolutely no rust and well taken care of.

Features: Cold A/C, Power everything (including steering wheel), Traction Control, awesome 6 CD Harman Kardon Stereo(changer in trunk),Cruise Control,Remote Entry and Alarm, Airbags all around, full-size spare in great condition, etc.

I have owned the car for the last 20,000 miles and the check engine/OBD light has never come on once. Other than regular maintenance (oil/filters, etc.) the only thing the car needed in that period of time was a rear wheel bearing (which was replaced). Uses Mobil 1 full-synthetic.

The vehicle comes with Brand New Firestone Tires (less than 200 miles on them)and new brake pads/rotors all around (5/2016). Comes with two spare genuine Jaguar oil filters and a spare set of front brake pads.

The interior is in good shape and being the Vanden Plas it has the extra rear leg room and the burled walnut interior trim with fold-down trays. The leather seats are in decent shape with some cracking and scratchingthat occurs with age (no tears). Center console also has some leather cracking. This vehicle has a custom jaguar print headliner so it is a little more blinged out than your typical conservative Jag. It still retains a very classy look and the headliner is quite complimentary to the leather and wood trim.

The paint is in good condition with no clear coat burn through. Typical rock chips in the front lower valance and about a three inch gouge impressed into the rear bumper just above the left exhaust (see pic). Afew small dings (less than a quarter size) in the doors and hood(no paint chipped on the dings...can be removed usingpaintless dent removal service).
