This is a nice and rare 2 door Jeep Cherokee with a manual transmission.
The Jeep's front Axle is of the style used in the 2000-2001 Cherokee's (low pinion which provides better exhaust clearance). The original high pinion front axle made a whining noise and will be included if desired.New front wheel bearings and new axle U-Joints were installed with the axle change around 6K miles ago.
The leather seats are from a 1995 Cherokee. The original seat will be included if desired. The front seat moves back several inches further then stock. This allows for a tall driver and can be changed back fairly simply.
The car has 5 matching Michelin Latitude tires; I have three more matching tires on rims that will be included if desired.
The engine was replaced by a previous owner and has less mileage then the car.The engine was needed after the previous owner continued to drive after having punctured the oil pan.The engine runs great and does not need any oil between oil changes.
Some of the car has been repainted. The previous owner had a motorcycle run into the back of the car once and other minor mishaps through his ownership time.
The clutch was replaced around 5k miles ago.
The Jeephas A/C; cruise control; power seats, power windows, power mirrors, upper information console, ABS brakes.
The worst rust spot is shown in the picture on the drives door jamb. Other pictures from underneath the Jeep show that the rocker panels are in good shape.
The headliner has just started to drop in one spot in front of the driver's sun visor.
Third gear on the transmission is a bit notchy but doesn't grind, just not as smooth as the other gears.Otherwise the Jeep runs good. The engine runs smooth, has no bad noises and doesn't need oil between oil changes.
