2005 Jeep Wrangler RUBICON Description

2005 Jeep Wrangler RUBICON with the 4.0L Inline 6CYL Engine, 6-Speed Manual Transmission, 1 1/2 Inch Lift Kit, and only 147K Miles. The color of the Jeep is known as "Shale Green Metallic", which is a highly sought after color. There were only 2 years that this color was available, and it was only available for the Rubicon in 2005. This 2-owner vehicle's Carfax is Clean and Clear showing NO accident history or reports. The 4.0L I-6CYL Engine came standard on the Rubicon, and the engine on this Jeep Runs Great! The 6-Speed Manual Transmission shifts through all of the gears with ease, including reverse. The Rubicon was the top trim level for the TJ and the most heavily optioned Wrangler that Jeep had to offer. The Rubicon is the only trim level to have the diamond plate rocker guards, and of course Rubicon badges. It also came standard with the Dana 44 front and rear axles with the "Rock-Trac" 4-wheel drive system. It of course offers the "Axle Lock" option, so it's ready to go if your plans are to use it as an off-road vehicle. This Rubicon has a 1 1/2 Inch Lift, which is the perfect height for the 31" BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires to sit properly in the wheel wells, while not having to sacrifice the drivability of the Jeep. The tires have another season or two left in them, with about 30% tread life remaining. The wheels are the factory 16" Moab Wheels that came only on the Rubicon. The 16" Moab wheels were unique to the Rubicon and were the only 16" OEM Wheels that Jeep put on any TJ 1997-2006 Wrangler (15" was the standard wheel size used throughout the TJ era). The AIR CONDITIONING blows ice cold and the heater blows hot. The 4x4 works properly in all modes (2hi, 4hi, and 4lo). The Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo system sounds great and comes with a Sound Bar, which enhances the sound and allows you to hear the radio with the Top Down. Has Cruise Control (which was surprisingly a rare option). Auto-Dimming Rear-view Mirror. The Soft Top is a Brand New OEM Replacement Black Sailcloth Soft Top with Rear Tinted Windows. The Sailcloth Material is an upgraded option, whichhas superior performance characteristics compared to either Denim or Diamond Materials, and will last considerably longer. Sailcloth also has enhanced acoustic properties that lower the noise levels at highway speeds. This Jeep has also been pre-wired from the Factory for a Hardtop with the Controls for the Rear Wiper, Rear Washer Sprayer, and Rear Defroster. Every option throughout this Jeep works properly.
