2006 Jeep Wrangler RUBICON Description

2006 Jeep Wrangler RUBICON with the 4.0L Inline 6CYL Engine, 6-Speed Manual Transmission, and only 72K Original Miles! The Carfax is clean and clear showing NO accident history or reports. 2006 is the last year of the TJ era (1997-2006), which means this was also the last year of the highly sought after Inline 4.0L 6CYL Engine. The 4.0L I-6CYL Engine came standard on the Rubicon, and the Engine on this particular Jeep runs great! The 6-Speed Manual Transmission (6-Speed was only made on the TJ for 2 years: 2005-2006) shifts through all of the gears with ease, including reverse. The Rubicon was the top trim level for the TJ and the most heavily optioned Wrangler that Jeep had to offer. The Rubicon is the only trim level to have the Diamond Plate Rocker Panels, 16" Moab Wheels, Dana 44 axles, and of course Rubicon badges. It featured Front and Rear air actuated locking Dana 44 axles with the "Rock-Trac" 4-wheel drive system (NV241, 4:1 ratio Transfer Case). Jeep also included an "Axle Lock" option as standard on the Rubicon, making the Rubicon the Ultimate Off-Road Vehicle (if desired of course). This Rubicon stands tall with a 3 1/2 Inch Lift and 33" Firestone Destination A/T Tires (90%+ tread life remaining), yet isn't so tall that thedrivabilityof the Jeep is compromised. It looks great as an every day driver on the road, and even better for the times you feel making your "own" roads! The wheels are the standard 16" Moab wheels that were only available on the Rubicon. The 16" Moab wheels were unique to the Rubicon and were the only 16" OEM wheels that Jeep put on any TJ 1997-2006 Wrangler (15" was the standard wheel size used throughout the TJ era). The AIR CONDITIONING blows ice cold and the heater blows hot. The 4x4 works properly in all modes (2hi, 4hi, and 4lo). The aftermarket Windshield corner Lamps work properly. The factory AM/FM/CD stereo system sounds great and comes with a Sound Bar (aka: Sound Pods) to enhance the sound and allows you to hear the radio with the top down. The Black Frameless Soft Top and Upper Door Skins are Brand New. Every option throughout this Jeep works properly.
