2000 Jeep Wrangler SPORT Description

Don't let the mileage fool you, new 4.2 stroker engine installed in 2008 for more HP
You are looking at a rock solid 2000 TJ with all the bells and whistles you could hope for including the DANA 44 rear axle with brand new traclok differential, as with most Jeepers I love to work on these rigs and upgrade them and it's amazing what these things can do! At first I thought about going the side by side route but they are almost $20,000 so I got into jeeps for half of that and I've never regretted it, you don't have to trailer this rig, she can run 75mph down the interstate with the cruise set and it's rock solid, here are the upgrades and I'm sure I'm missing a few:
1. Brand new 4.2 stroker engine installed in 2008 (paperwork to prove it)2. K&N cold air intake with throttle body spacer3. Full steel Metal Cloak 6" front and rear fender system (over $1500 visit metalcloak's website)4. Full aluminum inner fender wells (front)5. LED spyder headlights with daytime running lights6. JCR rock sliders7. JCR gas tank armor8. ORF front stinger bumper (prevents front rollover)9. Superwinch 9500lb10. Procomp rims on Micky Thompson MT's 33" including spare11. Cobra LTD CB system with FireStick12. Sound armor (inside cab)13. Quad LED light bar on front bumper, equivalent to a 36" light bar14. LED back up flood light15. LED 6 pack side light (up by front windshield where KC floodlights usually go)16. Brand new DANA 44 traclok differential in rear axle (500lb breaking force)17. Stronger upgraded chromoly axles in rear DANA 4418. Rock crusher differential covers both front and rear (5x thicker than stock)19. New rear shocks installed with stainless to make swapping them out easier20. 3.5" lift on 33"s21. D-rings on both front and rear after market bumpers22. tub is bedlined with hurculiner as well as metal cloak fenders23. JCR quick disconnect front sway bar links24. New High flow radiator fan25. Quick thumb screws for hardtop removal (no tools required)26. New AC compressor pump and fresh AC charge (Done by expert transmission and passed all leak and seal tests) AC is very cold.27. Rough country custom rubber floor mats
Whew, I think that about does it, what I was trying to recreate is a high clearance low profile rock crawling mudder that was ultra stable and as close to a rubicon that I could get, there are no TJ's on here that are as capable as this one, most will have the dana 35 in the rear with open diff's front and rear, rubicons have dana 44 axles front and rear with lockers, this one has the dana 44 in the rear with a limited slip differential which is the best of both worlds, it'll stay locked until 500lbs of pressure then it will slip so that you don't damage anything and trust me it gets the job done and done well.
However, as with all addictions Jeep it is time for me to upgrade to a Rubicon, as you know a good rubi is about $30,000 so the "decepticon" has to go, all the graphics are just stickers and easily removed name her whatever you'd like, this jeep has no rust, frame is coated inside and out, and it has all the bells and whistles to make your drive nice: AC, Cruise, Aftermarket stereo ect.
I wish I could post more pictures but 24 is the limit :( Summer is here and the top is ready to come off!
I will not refuse reasonable offers!
Side note: a few pics show the jeep with stock fenders, those are older pics before I upgraded to the full metal cloak fender system. The new fender system is the only one of its kind to give you more clearance both front and rear:
  • 2.6" ABOVE Tire vs. Typical Tube Fenders
  • 4" BEHIND Tire vs. Typical Tube Fender
  • 5.1" ABOVE Tire vs. Stock Fender Flares
  • 6.5" BEHIND Tire vs. Stock Fender Flares
This system would allow a stock jeep with no lift to run 33's, with the 3.5 lift you could run 37's without it hitting or rubbing the fenders or the inner fender well.
