1998 Jeep Wrangler 6 CYL Auto Soft Top Red 4x4RedRuns Great, strong engine. Transmission shifts smooth but has a small leak in the gasket. If you top off the fluid it will leak until it gets about half way down the "dip stick add" It seems like the top of the seal is leaking.I've owned for a few years and son is going to college and I do not need it anymore.Frame is excellent for a 1998. I do not see any cracks, and only surface rust. 4x4 works great.Hood and front bumper has a small dent/bent. Fenders have very little rust. Inside is clean, still has carpet. Rear speaker bar. Seat covers. After market cd player plays MP3's. Back has a shelf built in to hide a sub if you have one. I am leaving the wires there. Starts every time.Both front turn signals on the front fenders do not light up. The bulbs are new but in the last few months, the wiring or connection has went bad.New O2 Sensor in 2011, new cap and rotor 2011, new brakes and rotors 2011, new air flow sensor 2011, new throttle position sensor 2011Test drives in Lexington OH. Half way between Cleveland and Columbus, exit 165 off of I-71.The brake lights both work but I only have one tail light (it is legal that way and I can't figure out how to get the one tail light to work. I have tried different bulbs)Soft top is old. No tears but I am having trouble getting it the rear window to zip in. I've taped it in for now so you can drive it home in the rain. Looks like the teeth are not meshing any longer. New soft top is $250 or you can sew the rear window zipper together.Airbag light is on but I checked the connector and fuses.Tires are good for another couple years, probably 40-50% tread left. It has the original steel wheels painted black.Has hitch and wiring but I have not used either.Daily driver. Has been driven to Columbus (one hour each way) couple times a month.
No recalls, not salvage. Title in hand.
