1989 Jeep Wagoneer Description

For sale is my 1989 Grand Wagoneer with 157,000 miles in very strong running and driving condition. This vehicle has been in California since new, has a fresh California smog and is driven 4-5 days a week. The more you drivethis car the better she runs, as is often the case with oldercarbureted vehicles. Starts easilywith a couple pumps on the gas and runs very well. Enginesounds great with the classic Wagoneer exhaust rumble. Transmission is smooth, brakes are strong and straight. Plenty oftorque to get off the line. The paint and wood siding areoriginal and in good shape for their age but do show signs ofregular use over 27 years. Wood trim has some light patina, but hardly noticeable from 15 feet away. Paint all around is smooth, with typical nicks andscratches. The interior is clean, butthere are a few tears that should be addressed. No rust to speak of, except for a few scrapes on right side and small spots of superficial surface rust on undercarriage that could easily be removed with wire brush. Frame is rock solid rust free. All in all this is a great vehicle that runs as it should and has a lot of life left in it. She gets a lot of comments everywhere she goes and my mechanic always praises her condition. She is atrue daily driver, no need to worry about babying her as you might a $50,000 Wagonmaster. I have tried to show all the physical defects in the photos so you have a true sense of what you are buying. I have many more photos that I can send. This will never be a show car, but with a bit of work it could be brought back to excellent condition. It is a very nice example that will make you proud and should offer years of driving enjoyment. These vehicles are only going up in value, so here is your chance to own a pretty darned nice one before prices get too crazy. I'll be sad to see her go. Below is a list of all the good and the bad as I can think of it. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I can be available to coordinate shipping to out of town buyers. Happy bidding.
