1997 Land Rover Defender 90 NAS Soft Top Description

Restoration / Rebuild Work- completed approximately 6 months ago and 1000 miles ago; maintained to 100% working order ever since per below:
-300tdi sourced from Rover's North
-r380 gearbox - 5 speed sourced from Rover's North
-NO rust on the usual trouble areas with GALVANIZED chassis / rear cross member / outriggers, galvanized seat box, Corrosion-X Heavy Duty undercoat to bulkhead, doors, under carriage.
-Endless stainless or upgraded hardware including around floor pans, upgraded door hinges, upgraded rear hinges
-NEW panel off, Arles blue paint to all aluminum body panels (no hidden colors or overspray), and textured black lining to each individual internal panel.

Condition: In 2005, this truck was flooded in Hurricane Katrina. From there, the truck received a new galvanized chassis, new drive train, all accessories, and all new, panel off refinishing and painting of aluminum body panels. The truck has been meticulously restored and now maintained per above. Yes, it is a rebuilt truck. Otherwise, the price for this 1997, NAS truck would be $100+k. I have been able to fully insure this truck using my standard insurance company for collision, liability, and full loss at an agreed value of $75k.

***Work remaining to be done or to make 100% perfect**
-I installed new VDO gauges (speedo, temp, voltage, oil pressure) to match the truck's new 300tdi wiring harness; the wiring between the senders and the guages needs to be finished, approximately an 8 hour job by an expert.
-Top: currently, the truck has the original 1997 Bestop OEM Top. It is faded and has some unstitching along seams. I have a like new Rover's North, US made top available if the buyer desires for a few $ extra.
-Finishing trim: all final interior trim is present (dash corners, sun visors, reading lights) but need to be installed.
-DETAILS: I drive this truck, never off road but regularly on island. The truck has not seen salt since restored, and relative to almost all other trucks of this age, it shows in terms of being like new. I am the first owner post restoration and have personally driven all 1k miles.
Reason for sale: I have a 1993 110 restoration project and a 1994 conversion project in the works, both of which I would like to complete over the summer and fall. As such, I need to clear the plate and get to work.
