Condition: In 2000, this truck underwent a front end collision in the state of Louisiana. From there, the truck received a new galvanized chassis, new drive train, all accessories, and all new front clip body panels through Rover's North when they were doing restorations. The truck then rolled through ECR, the top shop in the restoration business, to have additional restoration, service, and upgrade works (photos available upon request). The salvage title was converted to a "rebuilt title" which has easily been transferred to various states over the years: LA, GA, NJ, and FL. The truck has been meticulously maintained per above. Yes, it is a rebuilt truck. Otherwise, the price for this 1997, auto, 74k confirmed, NAS truck would be $80+k. As Mike at ECR says, "you cannot see the title from the driver's seat." I have been able to fully insure this truck using my standard insurance company for collision, liability, and full loss at an agreed value of $60k.
-DETAILS: I drive this truck, never off road but weekly. The truck has not seen salt since restored per my understanding of the history, and relative to almost all other trucks of this age, it shows in terms of almost 100% rust free. It has seen rain, dusty and dirty spring roads, and is not a trailer queen for weekend shows only. Sure, you could make it perfect, but look at the photos - from 10 feet away, it is 100%. From 2 feet away, you see years of gentle wear on the restoration with the some bubbling of paint in spots where the steel cappings touch the aluminum panels, over some of the heads of the aluminum rivets, surface rust on under body bolt heads, light scuffs or nicks on the paint.
Reason for sale: I have a 1993 110 restoration project and a 1994 conversion project in the works, both of which I would like to complete over the summer and fall. As such, I need to clear the plate and get to work.
PHOTOS: All sections photographed. Please request any additional pictures.
Title / Reg / Insurance: 100% North American Spec truck, rebuilt title, restored per above, easily registered and insured. Please review your state's process for transferring and insuring rebuilt titles prior to purchasing!
