1965 Lincoln Continental Lehmann Petterson limousine Philadelphia Inquirer Description

Up for auction Is a extreamly rare 1965 Lincoln Continental Lehmann-Patterson Limo..This is the only one like this in the world!! This car was special orderd by the Philadelphia Inquirer through the Fred Ryder Lincoln Mercury dealership in Wynnewood,Pennsylvania and was deliverd in April 16th of 1965.The Lincoln Continental owners club “LCOC” Database says that out of the 150 Lehmann-Peterson limos built,Only 8 were shorter than the standard 34in stretch, and 6 of those were 8 inch stretch limos. This is the Only L-P limo ever built that from the outside appears to be a standard 1965 Lincoln Continental,And it is also the only one ever built without a vinyl top .This car was custom orderd to be Low Key.This car was used by the Inquirer to transport High Profile members of politics and Numerous Stars.Rumor has it that Elvis Himself was Picked up at airport in this Limo..Now to the Car!!.This car runs perfect and drives with 1 finger. The 462 engine sounds great and dosent smoke or rattle. The tranny shifts smooth as silk.It has front and rear am/fm radio, and yes they both work. All the windows work as they should even the power vent window.Working Clock,Power anntena,Brand new tires.Original spare tire and jack!!The brakes will stop on a dime! All doors open and close the way they should.Car is very tight. The car hasfront and rear A/C .Air may need a charge, seems cool, but not cold.Car has a very clean under carriage.Car appears to be 100% rust free minus small bubbles on truck lid from still having what appears to be original paint .LikeI said car appears to still have original with the exception of some touch up..Paint is presentable,But if you wanted it to be perfect It would need a paint job.The interior has very little wear..Car has factory leather front seats with sliding Privacy Glass has original Wool Broadcloth rear Upholstry that is near perfect.Has dual fold out tables. All body panels appear to be original without any wrecks that im aware of.I have tons of paperwork to authenicate what this car is.I have all original brochures and keys.It has been in many Magizines. This Car is piece of history and should be in a museum. This is one of the rarest Limousines that you will ever see for sale,For how rare it is and also for who it was owned by. I might entertain possible trades.Bid with confidence..I reserve the right to end This auction early if reserve has not been met,After reserve is met the auction will roll on..If you have any questions at all feel free to give me a call at 615-426-0123.I have more pictures I can email or if you would like anything specific, Just let me know.
