1997 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Base Sedan 4-Door Description

This is a project car that has various problems and will need work. Is being sold AS IS.THE GOODThe engine has only 80K miles and runs great. Seats are in very good condition with exception of some minor wear on the driver seat. The lights and glass are in good shape. Front grill and chrome are clean and in very good shape. Carpets are in average condition.
THE BADThe transmission doesn't shift although once in a blue moon it will shift and drive on a random gear, looks like the valve body needs to be replaced or remanufactured. The car has been repainted few years ago but there are some signs of rust. Body has some damage on the left front fender and front bumper although it should be easy to repair as the frame is straight. There are various small broken parts such as window switches, rear view mirror, interior trim, etc. Wood finish inside the vehicle has various flaws. Tires are old.There may be some other flaws or broken parts, please ask questions.
