Up for sale is a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST! Overall this is a very clean car. It has been garage kept since I bought it. Never saw snow/salt since I've bought it, so any previous rust is from previous owner. Has 135k miles on it. Miles will most likely stay near the same as I have bought another car. I've owned the car for about 5 years and have only put on around 10k miles on it. Many things have been done to it, so here is a list:
- painted from lime green to black
- Megan lowering springs installed (2" drop)
- Megan trailing arms installed (2k miles ago)
- brand new struts installed (2k miles ago)
- brand new clutch installed (2k miles ago)
- brand new exhaust manifold installed (1k miles ago)
- brand new rotors and brakes installed (less than 500 miles ago)
- muffler delete/3" straight pipe installed
- tinted windows (20% all around, windshield 35%)
- OEM headlights installed, switched from halos
- OEM front bumper installed
- 7" touchscreen radio (currently doesn't work)
Some things that need to be fixed:
- A/C/Heat
- radio
- door locks (driver side)
- driver door catches fender
The interior of the car is rough, not terrible though. It's missing door panels, trunk panels, A and B pillars, and the headliner. You can get all those for cheap at a junk yard probably will cost you $50 total. The seats and rest of the interior is in decent condition.
For the year the car is, it really is in pretty good shape and condition. I turned this car completely around and made it a show car (before I sold the wheels). For those of you who want power, it still has it. The engine runs very well, I haven't had many problems with it. Just a small transmission fluid leak, nothing serious. Maintenance is also done regularly with this car.
The first couple pictures you see are what the car can look like with a good stance and proper wheels. If you do plan on buying, the car will come with the black stocks since I sold the other wheels already. Also, I have began to vinyl wrap the car in 3M Black Rose wrap. I will continue to wrap the car until someone buys it (for my practice in the field) so if you don't like it when you buy it you can just take it off.
