1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse
1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse Description
It's time to sell my 97 eclipse I bought this car from a friend who rebuilt the engine top to bottom with hot cams, adjustable timing belt gears, aftermarket Intake and throttle body
The car itself has about 160k on it but the engine has about 10k due to the rebuild
I still drive it on the weekends to keep the cobwebs worked out of it and fresh fuel in the tank so the miles will fluctuate
This car runs and drives awesome and the trans shifts smooth!!!
Good stuff:-complete engine rebuild about 10,000 miles ago-air-conditioning works perfectly-minimal rust/ if any rust at all-aftermarket throttle body-aftermarket intake-Hot cams (gives a good sounding Lope to it)-adjustable timing belt gears-headers-back exhaust-full aluminum radiator (was told original was a steel radiator)-aftermarket oil cooler-height adjustable coil-over suspension-adjustable front camber-Electric locks, windows, and sunroof-BBS 16" wheels-ugly low spoiler was replaced with a spoiler from a GSX (looks a lot better)-new windshield-LED brake lights, low beam headlights, turn signals and front maker lights-LED interior lighting-new head unit-new powerbass front and rear speakers-kenwood 10" subs and amp
Bad stuff:-the combination of the throttle body, cams and a stock computer makes it hard to start when warm HOWEVER it has never failed to start after the third turn of the key, this is due to the stock computer not priming the engine with enough fuel for start up when warm when the car is cooled down it starts right up every single timeThis combination also causes the engine light to be on and therefore the car is not inspected (A tunable computer would fix all of these problems)-rear defroster does not work-dents and scratches-sunroof leaks (needs new seal)-missing fog lights or fog light fillers in the front bumper-Front bumper is cracked-drivers side mirror adjuster broken (still adjusts mirror)-The odometer on the gauges says 103,000 miles because I did have to replace them for the old gauges weren't working
I am asking $2,000 OBO
