European Motor Studio is proud to offer this stunning 1962 Porsche 356B T6 Super 90 Cabriolet in a gorgeous shade of White over Dark Navy Blue leather interior with a matching new blue soft top. According to the accompanying Porsche issued Kardex report, this 356B Super 90 was sold at the official Porsche dealership Fulda Kahrmann dealership in Stuttgart in December 1962 to its first German owner and equipped with a rear sway bar, headlamp protector covers, deluxe horn ring, twin speakers, antenna and adjustable rear view mirror. The car made routine trips for service to the dealership which is all logged on the Kardex report and has the infamous Glocker written down as having workined on the car. At the end of 1965 this 356 was brought into the Porsche Frankfurt center where Glockler swapped the engine with an S motor but retained the original big bore Super 90 pistons and cylinders which is all documented by the Kardex report. The factory rebuild and swap is stamped with a "KD" which is the symbol from the factory, the engine number 86174 is stamped on the engine and is marked on the engine box of the Kardex. This 356 has recently undergone a full bare metal re spray in correct Porsche White and the body has absolutely no rust or corrosion (one tiny hairline scratch in the front drivers fender). The body is completely straight and dent or damage free and has excellent panel gaps. The interior is finished in a stunning shade of blue and appears to be 100% original except for the drivers and passengers seats which have been re-done in leather and the correct German square weave carpets which have recently been redone. The soft top is the correct material and has been redone in matching blue with a blue boot cover. The car has just received brand new shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder and brake lines. The suspension has been overhauled and feels outstanding; it rides smooth and tight without any issues. The steering is very precise and tight and free from any drifting or play. The transmission is very smooth and easy to shift through gears. There is no grinding or slipping in the gears or clutch. The beautiful Porsche chrome dish wheels look excellent and the tires are almost new. All of the electricals on the car have been completely overhauled and all of the lights are in proper working order. The headlights, taillights, turn signals, side marker lights, brake lights, reverse light and dash and interior lights are all functioning. The car comes with its original owners manual, Kardex report, soft top boot, and its original Porsche spare tire. This is an excellent example of one of the most iconic sports cars ever made and one of the most sought after Porsche models in rare Super 90 configuration.
