1971 Porsche 914 Description

I got this porsche from a guy with intentions of restoring it however i have decided to go with something different. According to what i was told the car has been sitting since 1989 when the engine was blown it had the 1989 tag still on it. you can see in the pics that the engine case has a hole in it. I also have another 1700 cc engine so maybe you can use both to make one that runs with the addition of a few new parts. the car does have rust as seen in the pics. On the pelican site you can get floor pans for 400 bucks or you could just patch in a partial for 200. the car has other surface rust in places but it is fixable. this is why i call it a survivor because it has been in the dry since 1989....i bet its in better shape than other ones out there that have been out in the weather. the car came stock with air conditioning and fuel injection but could be easily converted to carbs. this is a true mid-engine car with 50/50 weight distribution. I also believe it has the front suspension from the 911. it also has 4 wheel disk brakes. i have clean title that has been signed over.
