Subaru GC8 2.5RS Impreza RSTi JDM WRX Swap

Preface:

I'm a collector. I like to collect intriguing or beautiful mechanical pieces and then take care of them / enjoy them until it's time to sell. Over the last 15-years I've acquired a few cool toys, but now it's time to sell them and move on to the next phase.

For sale in this ad is a 2001 2.5RS that has had A LOT of work done. The goal was to make a v5/v6 JDM STi inspired daily driver.

It has a 2005 WRX 2.0L Turbo engine in it. This was a daily driver for the last 6-years, so I didn’t do any mods to the engine; the focus was on reliability. The swaybars, diff, spindles/hubs and axles were also swapped over from the 2005 WRX. Currently it has a set of FEAL Gravel-Spec coilovers installed.

This car is QUICK and handles absolutely FLAT. The midrange torque is insane with this setup. I’ve regularly smoked Porsches and Audis while merging onto the expressway. It soaks up potholes and bumps like nothing.

There are 2006 Legacy Turbo Rotors & Calipers front & rear, so she stops very well. Stoptech SS Brake Lines.

Transmission is 5-speed. Short shifter.
