1980 Toyota Land Cruiser Description

Hello you guys. I am selling my 1980 BJ41 / RHD / JDM / 2B DIESEL / TOYOTA LAND CRUISER /FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING /FACTORY STOCK COLOR FREEBORN RED CODE 309which I have owned for over 8 years. It has always been GARAGED its whole life. The CRUISER was owned by a family in Japan from 1980 to 2004. Then sold to a IH8MUD member who owned it for 5 years. I purchased it from him and amalso a MUDForum Member. The Cruiser has always been extremely well taken care of, always garaged and well maintained. It has NEVER done any serious off roading. The previous owner put on the OLD MAN EMU lift kit ( approx. 3 inch lift from stock ) from Australia.Extremely well balanced and perfect for both daily driving and off roading. The Cruiser is a 4 speed and with the improved suspension is extremely comfortable. The Cruiser is ALL STOCK and extremely rare. The BJ41 in Japan is known for its LX edition seats, front CHROME BUMPER and CHROME BEZEL. The 2B Diesel engine ( and the B, 3B )are all rated top 10 engines that Toyota ever built. If well taken care of and with a bit of good luck these engines will last 500k miles. The Cruiser currently has only 132,508 MILES on it. I have receipts on most of the work done to the cruiser since I have owned it and some from the previous owner which I will pass along to the winning bidder. I also have much of the original paper work from Japan that the original owner left in the glove box. The Cruiser has served me well. I am only selling because I am replacing it with a different BJ41. I currently own the 2 but can't keep both. Below see a list of things that I have done to the cruiser, some thingsin the past and some things justdone over the last few weeks:* NewRebuilt Starter * Rebuilt Alternator *Replaced Batteries * Replaced BFGOODRICH 33 X 10.50 X 15All Terrains *NewlyRe-Painted Hood, Fenders andBackPanels ( both FRONT DOORS, TOP and BOTH CARGO DOORS are ALL ORIGINAL PAINT, never painted since factory and none of the cruisers body hasEVER SUFFERED FROM ANY CANCER RUST and only a small amount of LIGHT SURFACE RUSTcan even been seen( Amazing condition based on over 35 Land Cruisers that I have owned since 1975 ) * RE-CORED RADIATOR *REPLACED CLUTCH * REPLACED BRAKES ( frontDISKS and rear DRUMS ) * CRUISER HASCOLD AC THAT IS FACTORY and came STOCK with cruiser * ONLYapprox. 2000 MILES onNEW HEAD (all receipts in hand )*PERFECTENGINE COMPRESSION at 500 psi per cylinder which is as good as it gets *ALL seats original and drivers seat just restored (by the way, the headrestISincluded with the restored DriversSeat ) * EVERYTHINGfunctions the way itshould * ALL fluids: OIL, TRANSMISSION, TRANSFER CASE, FRONTand REAR DIFFERENTIALS, COOLANT CHANGED ON A REGULAR BASIS and NOTHINGis currently needed.Engine does NOT blow any smoke, noissueswith Engine, NO LEAKS,idles perfect, plenty of power * Transmission, Transfercase both function as the should * AllLIGHTS andELECTRICAL and all gauges andDASH KNOBS work properly* ORIGINALDASH PAD.UNDERCARRIAGE SOLID ( all body mountsand frame completely solid ).I drove the Cruisera lotsince I have owned it for the past 8 plus years and it currently runs perfect. The Cruiser has just been re-registered here in California, has California Clear Title and California Plates and can be easilyRe-Titled in any state. Ican't give thecruiserawaysince I have a lot invested in it but have set the RESERVE fairly based on the Land Cruisers Rarity and Condition. Finding a BJ41 in Stock condition with NOHISTORY of any Cancer Rustis EXTREMELY hard to find. You can, in my opinion, bid with confidence knowing that this cruiser could leave California and drive straight to Alaska with no issues. The2B Diesel is notfast. If your looking for fast do NOT buy a Diesel Land Cruiser.Mine is extremely reliable though. This Dieselis the ultimate work horse. The2B Engine has been used in the Japanese Mini Buses, Mining Generators andCommercial Fork Lifts ( just to name a fewapplications ) and is known for beingextremely rugged and bullet proof. Any questions, please let me know. Any further pics, please let me know. I have includeda Video below. Thanks, Dave
