2001 Toyota Prius Celebrity Owned! Only 84k Anna Belknap CSI NY

I have up for sale a 2001 Prius formerly owned by CSI New York Star Anna Belknap. I HAVE PROOF that this was her car that was found in the car. I obtained this car from a local business that the car was sold to when the owner lost all the keys. I bought it, got the keys replaced and programmed, replaced the windshield and the 12v battery and just got it Maine state inspected. This was to be my stepdaughters first car, but as now she will not have her license for over a year from now, and given the celebrity owned status we recently discovered, we have decided to sell it.

It has only 84k ACTUAL miles on it. California car originally so it's not all rusted out. Runs good, drives good and is in overall descent shape. About average for a privately owned car. There are some scrapes to the car in the bumper and a dent in the RH rear quarter panel but this is cosmetic only and affects nothing. This thing has plenty of power and gets great gas mileage.

I love the car but we have three other cars and only two drivers so I'm selling this and another car here shortly (2003 Mercury Marauder)

They will not be blacked out on the documents you receive with the car though. 100% genuine CSI NEW YORK STAR ANNA BELKNAP previously owned this vehicle. The documents even list her husband on them.

Funny story how I figured this out. I had known (I was told) when I bought this car that it was a clean California car with only 84k. Car was clean inside so I didn't have a problem believing that (and of course I checked the mileage). Anyways I bought the car and got the key issue fixed with the help of an out of state locksmith that made new keys and reprogrammed the Toyota immobilization unit that my mechanic pulled out of the dash. The prior owners sold the car for parts because the local Toyota dealer (who I called to verify what they found was wrong with it, but didn't give the prior owners name-they remembered the car-)and they had told the owner that that unit and possibly the ecu would have to be replaced in order for the vehicle to run as the keys were lost except the valet key. And the cost would be around $3k. Well I sent the immobilizer unit from the dash and the valet key to a locksmith in Kansas City who for $225 reprogrammed the immobilizer and sent me four good keys to the car. Put it in and it started right up and drove.

The vehicle comes with FOUR good working keys.

One day I was thinking damn that must suck to have been told $3k to fix a car that only actually cost (me) $225 so I thought maybe I should contact the prior owner, see what they were told and maybe tell them what happened. I felt bad for them.

So I googled the name and a whole bunch of crap about actress from CSI New York came up. I'm like ok nice. I never even heard of her before nor did I ever watch CSI NY (I only liked the original-Grissom was the best!) Anyway I was like great this lady has a name that matches a celebrity so whatever this is great now how am I going to figure out who owned this car?!? So I searched Anna Belknap Maine (figured the owner had lived in Maine because the car is in Maine and bam here comes all this IMDb crap about an actress again and One of the links went to imdb (internet movie database) Then it said that she was from (or born in) a city not 30 minutes from me here in Maine. I'm still like,yeah right. Let's see what this guy's name that's also on this insurance card next to hers is and I searched to see what that would pull up on Google. Lo and behold the guy is listed on IMDb as being her husband!!!I never could get into contact with her though. (No surprise). I tell you that story because this is how I came to figure out who used to own this car.

Damn. That's just crazy!!!

Other stuff:

I also replaced the headlight bulbs with high intensity ones, new wiper blades, a K&N air filter element good for 100k miles (increases engine responsiveness and you don't have to replace it until 100k miles from when you install it) and the car has nearly new looking tires on it. It was just recently State of Maine inspected so you know it's in good shape. This was literally all gone through for my stepdaughter to have. But things changed so here it is up for sale and ready for its new home.
