1985 Volkswagen Vanagon
I purchased this westy in 2013 It is in great condition inside and out apart from that damn dent, zero rust. All seats and cushions look like new. The motor runs great. A new battery and alternator installed a few month ago. In total I have put about 1500 miles on the van. I did some preventative maintains when I first got the van. I replaced the water box/head gasket seals. This seal is a weak spot in this engines design replacing it is the difference between an engine lasting 100,000 or 200,000 miles. She has always started right up every time I turned the key and runs like a champ
This Westy includes:
The damn dent on the rear driver side is from a hit and run on the first day I drove the van. I put the bumper with a hitch on the van after the hit&run the van pulled a 190 pound 7X4 foot trailer to help a friend move.
Odometer reads 98640. The original owner put a majority of the miles on it and kept documents of all the oil changes This is correct. Previous owner had it parked in a storage unit for over 10 years and it was rarely driven.
*Do to the fact that I live in the middle of no where I will cover the first 500 miles of shipping.
