According to the previous owner (An 83 year old man) the odometer has always worked and never malfunctioned. The Van runs and drives great. It has the original motor, which runs strong and is very clean. It recently had a tune-up, and oil change.

The Body is in excellent condition. However the paint is original, so it is decent shape. My friend owns a custom paint shop and said that he would not bother painting it, he said to hold off. He stated that it looks fine, and that people whom are serious about wanting to buy one of these would rather buy one like it is, so they can see the actual condition of the vehicle. With that being said: It is is a very nice Westfalia, for anyone looking for one in such original pristine condition.
The engine runs very strong! It does not smoke or drip any oil. The clutch and CV joints were recently replaced.
