1976 RIVIERA CAMPER LOW MILE ORIGINAL SURVIVIOR. 161,000 original miles. Two owner van.Clear Oregon title. This van was purchased new in Portland Oregon (this is verified by the M-Code plate). The van has remained in Portland Oregon since new and still has its original yellow Oregon plates. The motorwas rebuilt by a well known Porsche mechanic. Rare anddesirable sage green color. This van has had one older repaint in its factory original color of Sage Green (L63H). Super dry West Coast bus.Very strait van with no signs of bondo anywhere... This is a no stories what you see is what you get van that runs and drives excellent.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION- This bus has approx. 30k miles on a full engine rebuild. The engine runs great with plenty of power. Newfuel and vacuum lines, fuel filter, fuel pump, battery, battery cables, oil pressure switch, combo relay for fuel injection, mass air flow sensor, and fuel gauge sender. The clutch, pressure plate, through out bearing were replaced at the time of the motor rebuild. Fresh tune up including but not limited to new plugs, cap rotor, points, condenser, air filter, oil change, timing and dwell just set. The transmission shifts perfectly.
PAINT/ BODY- Always garaged. This bus has had one repaint in its original color. The door andbody gaps are excellent. Super clean bus. Rare factorySage Green (L63H) not normally found on Riviera's. The front and rear bumpers were just sandblasted and powder coated to factory colors. 99% rust free. The floors, doglegs, out riggers, jack points, inner and outer rockers, rain gutters, doors, windshield area, hatch, undercarriage, ect. are all free of rust. The only rust the van has is in the battery tray area. There is NOrust any were else. A new battery tray is included. The factory under coating is in excellent condition. The under carriage is clean and dry.
POP TOP- The pop top canvas is in good condition with no cuts or tears. The upper bunk upholstery still looks new. The fiberglass pop top has no cracks or damage. You might have noticed the Riviera stickers that were custom made as well.
INTERIOR- The interior is in excellent original condition. I just replaced the seat padding on the front seats and reinstalled the original covers as they were in excellent condition with no rips or damage. The front seats are very comfortable. Imade new front door panels, slider door panel, hatch panel and kick panels using 1/4 inch birch plywood. I then sanded and stained the panelsto match the factory interior cabinet color. Overall the interior and camping cabinets arein excellent condition. The campingdome and florescent lights all work. All electrical works perfect.Nice dash. The originalcup holder, sliding window screens, jack,step/storage stool, table, curtains, are all included. This interior lay out is the most desirable as there are no blind spots. The van has a electric and hand pump with built in sink and electric fridge. There is a 9 gallon holding tank for water. You can hook the van up to shore power or fresh water using the factory camping out lets. I also installed a newASB plastic glove box.
I am regretfully selling to finish another project. With the exception of the paint and new interior panelsthis bus is100% original. This bus is a no stories survivor that you just don't see every day. Solid, dry, West Coast bus that has been well maintained and cared for since new. Awesome daily driver or perfect for long distance camping adventures.
