Maintenance Details
We have spent the past four years extensively renovating and updating the bus. The following are major projects completed using professional mechanics (Cory Motors, Santa Barbara Ca.) and new parts. Mechanical records will be included in the sale.
The bushas original paint and rust has been taken care of when possible. There are rust spots around the bus as well as dings and dents to be expected out of a vehicle of this age. These are cosmetic and can be taken care of with little issue and without a full body repair/paint job.
We did not have a chance to re-upholster the bus. There are currently several large and small tears in the original green seating. Everything works as expected and the bed is still very comfortable. There are many affordable re-upholstery kits with a wide variety of patterns and colors availableat VW speciality stores.
