1969 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Weatfalia Description

Sellingmy 1969 VW Westfalia camper. This is a Western bus spending most of its life in Colorado. I had it shipped to Ohio and I recently had a 1776 dual carb motor professionally built and installed by Drew's Offroad in Hamilton OH (receipt provided) to give her the power to comfortably cruise down the highway at modern speeds, which she easily does. Less than 100 miles on motor since it was built. Hermaiden voyage with the new motor was to Grateful Dead show inCincinnati this summer. We went early to tailgate at the show and had a blast! Everyone who passed by wanted to check her out or offered to buy her. I was not wanting to sell her then and its hard to let her go now, but I have an abundance of vehicles and we just bought a camper since it has air conditioning and is more comfortable to camp in than the Westy. This is the only reason I'm selling the bus.
When the motor was installed I had them reseal thetransmission as well. No drips or drops underneath her at all! Very dependable, good brakes, good steering. Although I have not owned this bus since new Ibelieve the miles to be original. She has not had any significantrestoration done to her. She may have hadonerespray at some point in her life. This is not concourse restored bus but is certainly a verypresentable, useable camper than you can be proud to own and have the piece of mind and expectation that she will bedependable for years to come, due to the fresh professionally built motor. However, as she is approaching 50 years old and I do not know your maintenance habits I am selling her AS IS, yet with good karma.
Please ask any and all questions prior to purchase. I will behappy to answer. Please have funds arranged prior to bidding. Please only bid if you intend to follow through with the purchase asresisting is a hassle and I have to file against non paying bidder to get my listing fees back.
The sink/icebox combo is removed from the bus and in my garage right now but is in good condition and is included.
